VANCOUVER, British Columbia (AP) — Jannik Hansen scored his second goal of the game 4:01 into overtime and the Vancouver Canucks edged the Edmonton Oilers 2-1 on Saturday night for their first overtime victory this season.

Hansen, who tied the score in the second period, walked down the right wing and fired a shot that beat goalie Cam Talbot under his blocker for the game-winner. Matt Bartkowski and goalie Jacob Markstrom had the assists.

Vancouver (14-14-9) had been 0-7 when playing 3-on-3.

Mark Letestu opened the scoring in the first period for Edmonton (15-18-3).

It was the third straight win on home ice for the Canucks, who were back at Rogers Arena for the first time since Dec. 9.

Jacob Markstrom made 32 saves for his third victory this season. Top goalie Ryan Miller was sidelined with muscle cramps, the team said.
