Harden Furniture Drivers Recognized

Utica, NY (WIBX) - Utica National Insurance Group is recognizing tractor trailer drivers from Harden Furniture in McConnellsville for their safe driving records.

The company’s seven drivers received the Fleet Safety Award for their low amount of preventable accidents, according to a release from Utica National Insurance.

Harden’s Director of Transportation says the company hires experienced drivers, holds regular safety meetings and have their in-house mechanic check the trucks before and after each trip.

Drivers in the fleet travelled more than six million miles over a five-year period from 2005-2009.
