Hennessey To Run For Oneida County Executive

Former Oneida County Legislator Mike Hennessey is running for County Executive.

Hennessey announced his candidacy on Tuesday night.

Hennessey, a Democrat, served several terms on the county board and most recently served as Commissioner in the City of Sherrill.

Hennessey is the third candidate into the county executive's race.

Incumbent Anthony Picente will face a Republican primary challenge for another former county legislator, David Gordon.
