Utica, NY (WIBX) - Utica Police officials are seeking the public's help in locating a Hit and Run suspect. Officials say the incident happened on Friday morning around 8:00, when a motorist struck a pedestrian crossing the arterial near Noyes Street in Utica.

The suspect is described as a heavy set, bald white male in his 40's. Witnesses say he had a gray goatee, including an identification card around his neck. The suspect, who fled the scene heading northbound on Route 12, was driving a black 4 door sedan, possibly an older Honda Civic. One witness told police that there may have been a sticker on the rear driver side window.

Utica police say that the vehicle was making a left turn onto Rte 12N/B from Noyes when he struck the female victim who was crossing the road, heading eastbound. Anyone with information is asked to contact Utica Police at (315) 223-3500.
