Ilion Mayor Beth Neale Loses to Challenger Terry Leonard By 2:1 Margin

Unofficial results from the Village of Ilion show the Mayor has lost her position to her challenger by a more than 2:1 margin.

Terry Leonard received 898 votes to Mayor Beth A. Neale's 414.

Two four-year Village Trustee positions were available.  Those went to Kalman A. Socoloff with 756 votes and Fred E. Hartmann with 717.  Ted W. Gage earned 584 votes.  Charles T. Lester received 508 votes.

One two-year Village Trustee position was up for election.  That went to Bridget Trevor-McKinley with 929 votes.  Larry G. Gookins received 386 votes.

The results, unofficial, have been provided by Ilion Village Clerk Linda Coffin, and will be confirmed later in the day.
