Ilion Police Investigate After Body Found On Spruce Street

The Ilion Police Department is still investigating the discovery of a body on Spruce Steet.

Officials say, officers responded to a vacant property on Spruce and discovered the remains of 41-year-old Michael White of Ilion beneath a tree in a grass covered clearing.

An autopsy was completed at Albany Medical Center and the official cause of death is pending toxicology results.

Ilion Police are still looking into the events surrounding White's death.
