Joint Task Force Arrests Wanted Burglary Suspect

Utica, NY (WIBX) - Utica police are reporting the arrest of a suspect on several open warrants. They say 19-year-old Cody Kistner, of Warren Street in Utica, was wanted by New Hartford and Yorkville police.

The suspect is also accused of burglarizing a home on Minot Place in Utica. Officials say in that incident Kistner allegedly made off with the residents computer and hooded sweatshirt. Kistner was taken to Oneida County Jail and charged with 2nd degree Burglary, a class C felony, and Petit Larceny, a class A misdemeanor.

Officials say the suspect was taken into custody by members of the US Marshals NY/NJ Regional Fugitive Task Force , UPD, OC Probation, State Police & US Marshals Service.
