Laura Casamento Named New President of Utica College [VIDEO]

Following an 11 month search, Utica College has named a new president.

Laura Casamento, who is currently the Executive Vice President and Chief Advancement Officer at Utica College, succeeds Todd Hutton..

Casamento was born in West Utica and is a lifelong resident of the Mohawk Valley.  She's been at Utica College since 2004 and co-led the team that developed the college's tuition reset strategy.

Casamento's appointment is effective August 1, 2016.

She becomes the ninth president of Utica College and the first female to head the school.
