Learn More About Nanotech And Quad-C At SUNYIT

The public will get a chance to see the "Nano Utica" initiative first hand tomorrow.

SUNYIT is hosting Community Day at the Chip Commercialization Center now under construction on the Marcy campus.

It takes place from 11:00 to 3:00.

The event will feature sites tours, hands-on activities and presentations.

Community Day is being held part of the SUNY College of Nanoscale Science and Engineering's "NANOvember."

It''s a month long series of events and activities demonstrating the world of nanotechnology.

Governor Andrew Cuomo recently announced a $1.5 billion dollar high-tech initiative at SUNYIT that will bring over 1,000 jobs to the Mohawk Valley.
