Lee Center Man Charged With DWI After Hiding Motorcycle In Woods
A Lee Center man is facing DWI charges and traffic violations after attempting to hide in the woods from police.
State Police say Mantle Connelly of Lee Center was driving a minibike with no license plates, lights or mirrors on Seldon Drive when he headed into a nearby wooded area and laid down with the bike in an attempt to hide from officers.
After troopers found Connelly in the woods, it was discovered that he had a blood-alcohol content of .25%.
He was also charged with several traffic violations, including aggravated unlicensed operation and an unregistered motorcycle.
