Little Falls Woman Charged With Welfare Fraud

A Little Falls woman has been arrested on welfare fraud charges.

The Herkimer County Sheriff's Office Welfare Fraud Unit says 40-year old Stacey Krasko allegedly received nearly $10,000 in SNAP benefits which she was not entitled to.

They say It happened from December 2013 through September of this year.

Krasko is charged with welfare fraud, grand larceny and offering a false instrument for filing.
