Cooperstown Police have arrested Benjamin Stubley in connection with a threat made to Bassett Medical Center Monday.

Police say Stubley was arrested at his home without incident.

Bassett was placed on lockdown in both Cooperstown and West Winfield as a result of the threatening phone call and police also put Mt. Markham schools in a modified lockdown as a precaution.

After Stubley was arrested, police lifted the lockdowns at both Bassett and Mt. Markham.

Stubley was charged with making terroristic threats and sent to the Otsego County Jail on $2,500 bail.
