Man Charged With Possessing Cocaine At Herkimer County Jail

A Herkimer man has been arrested for allegedly being in possession of cocaine while at the Herkimer County Jail.

The Herkimer County Sheriff's Office says 22-year old Devin Joyner was being processed on unrelated charges when he was found with more than an 1/8 of cocaine on him.

Joyner is charged with criminal possession of a controlled substance and promoting prison contraband.

He was arraigned in Herkimer Village Court with  bail set at $7,500.
