Utica, NY (WIBX) - A Utica man is facing numerous charges for allegedly taking photos up the skirts of several women.Utica Police have charged 54-year old Michael Scotellaro with six counts of possession of sexual performance of a child and six counts of unlawful surveillance.

Police say the arrest stems from a complaint they received from a woman in July of a man following her and her young daughters at a local retailer.

A search warrant was executed at Scotellaro's home and a computer was seized, along with several data storage devices.

Police say Scotellaro used a camera to video under unsuspecting woman's skirts.

He allegedly did it at larger retail businesses in Utica and New Hartford.

Investigators say the crimes were committed over the summer months, but may have been going on for some time.

Anyone who feels they may have been a victim is asked to call Utica Police.
