Millers Mills Hosting Walk/Run On National Ice Cream Day

Millers Mills, NY (WIBX) - This year's Boilermaker may be full, but there's another road race right around the corner that's serving up a good time.

The Millers Mills Sundae Run and Fun Walk is scheduled for July 15th and features a 5K road race and 2 mile walking event.

Awards will be handed out for top overall finishers and each age group.

Following the event, there will be a finish line party with music, prizes and homemade ice cream to celebrate National Ice Cream Day. Other events include hay rides, craft exhibits and a crosscut sawing event.

The cost to register for the 5K run is $20, or $5 for the 2 mile walk. You can also print out a registration form here. Running shirts will be handed out tot he first 75 people to register for the event.

This year's event  is sponsored by the Millers Mills Grange #581 and the Route 20 Road Challenge.
