An Oneida County man wins a Sweet Million, with a little help from his daughter.

65-year old Philip Domser was presented with a ceremonial check for $1 million at the Byrne Dairy in North Utica this morning by the New York Lottery's Gretchen Dizer.

Domser says he usually plays Power Ball and Mega Millions, but his daughter Kathy convinced him to give Sweet Million a try.

Domser says he didn't check his ticket until reading in the newspaper that a winning ticket had been sold at that location.

He'll receive a lump sum payment of $661,800 after taxes.

Domser says he'll be keeping his part-time job as a bus driver with the Whitesboro School District.
