Mirante To Run For Utica Common Council’s 4th Ward Seat

Republican John Mirante has announced his candidacy for the Utica Common Council's 4th Ward seat.

Mirante is a life long resident of East Utica and graduated from Proctor High School and Mohawk Valley Community College

He was a former elementary school teacher in the Utica School District.

John also served as the Director of Educational Programs and Resident Services for the Utica Municipal Housing Authority.

Mirante said,"I love Utica and want to be a part of representing the  wonderful people of my East Utica district and the city as a whole. I will work to make sure the citizens of Utica have a real voice and have the ability to vote on important issues that impact their daily lives and the lives of future generations."

The 4th Ward seat is currently held by Joe Marino, who is running for Mayor.
