The unmanned drone that crashed in Lake Ontario is still missing according to officials with the Air National Guard.

The drone that took off as part of what was considered to be a routine training mission with the 174th Attack Wing.

The MQ9 Reaper, manufactured by General Atomics and previously known as the "Predator B," is designed as a "hunter / killer" and is also used for high altitude surveillance.

There were no reports of injuries as a result of the crash.  No weapons were on board and crews are continuing their search today.
