MV EDGE Supports Downtown Utica Hospital

Mohawk Valley EDGE is throwing its support behind construction of a hospital in downtown Utica.

The EDGE Board of Directors has approved a resolution backing Mohawk Valley Health System's plan to build a new healthcare facility in Utica.

The resolution states that as the area's principal economic development organization, Mohawk Valley EDGE fully supports construction of a new, integrated healthcare campus in downtown Utica.

It also states the new campus will vastly improve the delivery of healthcare services to area residents while simultaneously fostering the revitalization of the downtown area.
