MVWA Schedules Maintenance Work For Part Of Marcy

The Mohawk Valley Water Authority will be performing maintenance work on Wednesday, April 11th in the Town of Marcy starting at 9 a.m.

Due to the work, there will be a water outage on Fox Road between Route 291 and Ives Road and on Irish Road.

Officials says residents should store water for drinking prior to the outage.

The maintenance work is scheduled to be completed by 1:00 p.m., at which time hydrant flushing will begin to clear up any discolored water.

There will be no Boil Water Advisory due to the work.
