The Mohawk Valley Water Authority will be shutting off the water on Seymour Avenue between South and Arthur Streets from 8:00 to Noon on Monday, June 27th.

The shutdown is taking pace due to ongoing construction work in the area.

Customers are advised to store water for use during this shutdown.

Following the restoration of service hydrant flushing will be conducted. Customers are advised against using any water that appears cloudy or discolored, especially hot water, since such usage will draw the water into the hot water tank.

Customers should also avoid washing their clothes in discolored water, since it may contain sediments that could permanently stain their laundry.
