A New Hartford woman is facing a DWI charge following a crash in the City of Rome.

According to State Police, 78-year-old Donna Pasquale was operating her Toyota Avalon when she rear-ended another vehicle that was stopped for a school bus unloading passengers.

Responding Troopers discovered two empty vodka bottles in her possession.

Both Pasquale and the driver of the vehicle she struck were transported to a local hospital for complaints of pain.

Pasquale was subsequently arrested for Driving While Intoxicated and will appear in Rome City Court on April 30th.
