New Hartford’s Zalewski One Of 8 Players Assigned To Comets

New Hartford's Mike Zalewski is being assigned to the Utica Comets from the Vancouver Canucks.

Canucks General Manager Jim Benning announced today the team will send eight players including Zalewski to Utica for the upcoming season.

• Alex Grenier                  Right Wing
• Kellan Lain                    Left Wing
• Alex Mallet                     Center
• Mike Zalewski                Left Wing

In addition, the Canucks have released defenseman Spencer Humphries and center Curtis Valk who will also attend Comets training camp.

The Comets open up training camp in Utica on September 29, and will play their home-opener at the Aud on October 22.
