New Locally-Manufactured Buses Serving Utica
Utica, NY (WIBX) - A fleet of 12 brand new buses begins its first week in operation serving Utica. A host of local leaders were on hand to make the announcement.
The new fleet boasts several environmentally-friendly and efficiency improvements, making rides greener, more cost-effective, and more comfortable for passengers.
Centro's new buses were manufactured in Oriskany. New features such as mobility ramps and brighter destination signs are expected to enhance the riding experience of those who already use the buses and increase ridership among those who do not currently take advantage of mass transit.
