Don't look for a jet flyover at this year's Boilermaker Post Race Party.

Due to a scheduling conflict the Genesee Warbirds, who have previously performed the flyover, will not be able to return this year. Last year, the Warbirds were unable to participate due to adverse weather conditions.

Race officials had requested a flyover by the military earlier this year, which was declined.  The last military flyover took place in 2009 when the 17th F-16 Squadron was still located in Syracuse.

The Boilermaker will reach out via social media to see what the public would like to have happen at the conclusion of the singing of the National Anthem, which was traditionally when the flyover would take place.

Due to the fire at the FX Matt Brewery in 2008, fireworks will not be an alternative.

The 2015 Boilermaker will take place on Sunday, July 12th.
