
Oneida County Sheriff’s Office Investigate Two Weekend Drownings
The Oneida County Sheriff's Office is investigating two drownings that occurred over the weekend.
According to Sheriff Rob Maciol, deputies were called to a residence on Route 69 in the Town of Camden at approximately 3:00 p.m.
Upon arrival those deputies assisted members of the Camden Fire Department in removing 29-year-old Andrew Renwick from a swimming pool at the residence.
Renwick was transported to Rome Memorial where he was pronounced dead. The investigation is ongoing.
The Sheriff's Office also confirmed that a man drowned in Hinckley Lake Sunday upon arrival at St. Luke's Hospital. That investigation is also ongoing.
