The Oneida County Sheriff's Office will be hosting their latest "Sheriff's Community Coffee" events on Friday morning at two locations.

They'll take place from 8:30 to 9:30 at the Stewart's Shop in Waterville and from 10:00 to 11:00 at Tiffany's on Route 5 in Kirkland.

The events bring uniform Sheriff's Deputies, Correction Officers and community members together over a cup of coffee to discuss issues and learn more about each other.

Sheriff Rob Maciol says the coffee events have no speeches or specific topics, it's just informal conversations with members of the Sheriff's Office.  Maciol says most importantly, the “Sheriff’s Community Coffee”  events are opportunities to build relationships in order to better problem solve with the people in the community.
