Police agencies in Oneida County will be participating in a special enforcement effort to crackdown on impaired driving throughout the Christmas holiday season.

The crackdown period will run from December 18th until January 3rd.

Oneida County STOP DWI will be partnering with the Whitesboro, Whitestown, Rome, New York Mills, Vernon, and Yorkville Police Departments, as well as the Sheriff's Office and State Police.

“As we get ready to celebrate with family and friends this Holiday Season, please remember to celebrate responsibly”, said, Oneida County Executive Anthony Picente.
