Palmieri Announces Appointment Of New Chief Of Staff

Utica Mayor Robert Palmieri has a new Chief of Staff.

Charles "Sonny" Greco, Governor Cuomo's Mohawk Valley Regional Representative, replaces Jim Murphy.

The 27-year old Greco has served in the Cuomo administration since 2011 and also worked for former Congressman Michael Arcuri.

He says while the decision to leave the Governor's office was difficult, he's very excited to join Mayor Palmieri's team and help build on the progress his administration has made for the city.

Greco will be paid $55,000 a year.
