Utica Mayor Robert Palmieri will be holding four community meetings to discuss his proposed budget with residents.

The first meeting will take place on Wednesday, February 14th at 5:30 at the Empowerment Center on James Street. (East Utica)

The schedule for the other community budget meetings is as follows:

  • North Utica- Monday February 26th 6:30pm, North Utica Senior Center (50 Riverside Dr.)
  • West Utica- Wednesday February 28th 7:00pm, West Utica Senior Center (717 Court St.)
  • South Utica- Monday March 12th 6:00pm, Notre Dame Elementary School (11 Barton Ave)

Palmieri's $72.5 million budget for 2018-19 carries a 7.8 percent property tax increase.
