Palmieri Raises $15,000 For Local Breast Cancer Patients

Utica Mayor Robert Palmieri presented a check for $15,000 to The Breast Care Center at Mohawk Valley Health System today.

The funds were raised at the Mayor’s Breast Cancer Awareness Luncheon, which was held in October at Daniele's at Valley View.

Nearly 300 people attended the luncheon.

Palmieri said, “I thank everyone who came out and supported this worthy cause and made it our most successful luncheon to date.  The event is humbling and it’s amazing to meet and learn from so many strong people who represent the best of our community.”

The $15,000 is the highest amount the luncheon has ever raised.
