Paul Bumbolo Enters Plea In Triple Homicide
The Utica man accused of killing three of his family members in their Whitesboro Street home in January has entered a plea in Oneida County Court.
Paul Bumbolo pleaded not responsible by reason of mental disease or defect.
The District Attorney's Office has accepted the plea.
Bumbolo will be sent to a secure psychiatric facility to be periodically re-evaluated on a regular basis.
Bumbolo was charged with one count of first-degree murder and three counts of second-degree murder in the stabbing deaths of his adoptive mother, uncle and step sister.
