The Utica man accused of killing three members of his family has been indicted on a first-degree murder charge.

21-year old Paul Bumbolo is charged in the stabbing deaths of his uncle, adoptive mother and step sister in their Whitesboro Street home on January 7th.

Oneida County First Assistant District Attorney Dawn Catera Lupi says the first-degree murder charge relates to the fact there were multiple victims.

He'll be arraigned in Oneida County Court on Thursday on the first-degree murder charge, along with three counts of second-degree murder.

Bumbolo is also scheduled to appear in Utica City Court next Monday, where the results of a mental health evaluation are expected to be released.
