Picente Announces Next Steps In Oneida County Health Initiative

This is National Public Health Week and Oneida County Executive Anthony Picente is announcing the next steps in the County's Total Health Initiative.

Picente says they'll begin to phase in a Smoke Free Campus for all County buildings by 2018.

He says the county has also partnered with Gilroy, Kernan and Gilroy to institute a certified wellness plan for all 15-hundred county employees.

Since the start of the Total Health Initiative, the County has taken part in new programs including an 80 percent in 2018 colorectal cancer screening pledge and hands only CPR classes for county employees.
