The week of April 22nd is Teen Safety Education Week.

Oneida County Executive Anthony Picente says events in Oneida County will include the Teen Safety and Education Program, which is presented to high school students prior to prom season.

And the 3rd annual Oneida County Stop-DWI Baseball Classic will take place on April 25th and 26th at Murnane Field.

Ten area high school baseball teams will be competing in the event.

Picente says teen safety is a top priority for county government.

He says the Teen Traffic Safety Education Program and the Stop-DWI Baseball Classic provide an opportunity to educate teens and their families on the dangers of making destructive decisions at a critical time of year.
