Picente Questions Change To Oneida Nation Agreement
Oneida County Executive Anthony Picente is speaking out on Governor Andrew Cuomo's proposed change to the Oneida Indian Nation settlement agreement.
Cuomo's budget proposal includes $2.25 million in gaming revenue for Madison County from the Nation's Yellow Brick Road Casino in Chittenango.
Picente says the settlement was reached by four parties after a long negotiation.
He says for New York State and Madison County to now change that arrangement without including the other two parties is wrong and he believes it is a breach of that agreement.
