Oneida County Executive Anthony Picente has been sworn-in to a third term in office.

A ceremony was held Wednesday morning in the Legislative Chambers of the Oneida County Office Building.  Retiring Utica City Court Judge John Balzano administered the oath of office.

Picente says he's looking forward to another four years in office. While discussing plans for his third term, Picente upon the next phase of Vision 2020, the Mohawk Vally Poverty Initiative and agri-tourism, as well as working to make AMS, NUAIR, GE and a new hospital come to fruition.

Picente is the longest serving County Executive in Oneida County history.
