Police: Domestic Dispute Results In Punctured Lung, Broken Arm
Utica, NY (WIBX) - Police have released more information about a domestic dispute that left one person with a broken arm and another with a punctured lung. It happened Friday on the 1600 block of Howard Ave.
The victim suffered the broken arm, and while defending herself, stabbed 27-year-old Benjamin Reed, leaving him with a punctured lung, according Sergeant Steve Hauck, the UPD's Public Information Officer.
Reed faces a total of seven charges, including felony counts of violating an order of protection, strangulation and two counts of criminal contempt, along with misdemeanor charges of endangering the welfare of a child, assault in the third-degree and meancing.
Reed has been released from the hospital and is being held in the Oneida County Jail, Hauck said.
