Police Investigating Fatal Shooting In Finger Lakes City
GENEVA, N.Y. (AP) — Police in a city in New York's Finger Lakes region say they're investigating the fatal shooting of a 38-year-old man.
Authorities say the shooting occurred around 9:30 p.m. Tuesday on a street in Geneva, on the northern end of Seneca Lake. Police say they responded to Geneva General Hospital for a report of a man suffering from a gunshot wound to the chest.
Officials say he died from his injuries at the hospital. The victim has been identified as Pliekou Irvin Sr.
No arrests have been reported.
