Richland Suspect Identified, Robbery Investigation Continues

UPDATE: 01/05/2022 10:46am New York State Police say the person seen in the surveillance video has been identified.

The investigation is continuing.

Police are asking for your help locating a suspect, believed to be a man, who may have been involved in several burglaries.

An image of the person was captured on a trail camera close to one of the locations. New York State Police say that the burglaries were mostly in the area of County Route 41 and Loomis Road in the Owsego County Town of Richland.

No additional information about the robberies has been released at this time. Police say that their investigation and evidence collection are continuing.

Monitor lizard caretakers and enthusiasts gather on Christmas Day at a restaurant in Bangkok to share their love of the often controversial monitor lizard. Although many agree that they are usually shy by nature and will stay away from human beings – unless they are raised by them – they can be aggressive when provoked or hungry – especially in the wild.

It is a day of fun, food and drink (for lizards and their human caregivers), and prizes.

There are approximately 80 species of monitor lizards known to exist on Earth at this time, and most are considered venomous. According to Singapore’s National Parks agency that venom usually has a “relatively mild effect on (human beings).”
