Raccoon Tests Positive For Rabies In Town Of Annsville
A racoon in the Town of Annsville has tested positive for rabies.
The Oneida County Health Department says the raccoon was killed by a pet dog and no humans were exposed to it.
The Health Department is urging pet wners to keep their pets up to date on rabies vaccinations.
The Health Department will be offering Rabies Vaccinations Clinics on the following dates:
- July 1 at the Annsville Highway Garage, 5-6:30 PM
- July 25 at Rome Kennedy Arena, 6-7:30 PM
- August 5 at the Vienna Highway Garage, 5-6:30 PM
- September 10 at Back to Basics Dog Obedience in Forestport, 6-7:30 PM
