Raven's Challenge Explosive Ordnance Disposal Training In Oriskany

The Raven's Challenge Explosives Ordnance Disposal (EOD) Training exercise took place at the State Preparedness Training Center in Oriskany, NY.

The Raven's Challenge began in 2004 in the Pacific Northwest, and has since grown to include training at 4 sites across the country and is now the largest Explosive Ordnance Disposal/Public Safety Bomb Squad week long training exercise in the world. On May 18th, Raven's Challenge hosted VIP Day at the State Preparedness Training Center in Oriskany.

The challenge is sponsored by the Department of Defense and is coordinated by the FBI and the ATF. About 900 law enforcement and military bomb squad members are taking part in the training in Oriskany from more than 90 agencies across the country including several Canadian agencies.
