Rome Man Accused of Sex with Underage Teen

A Rome man is facing felony charges for allegedly have sex with a minor.

The Oneida County Child Advocacy Center says Joshua Sherman, 26, has been charged with 3rd degree rape. Sherman's arrest followed a four month investigation, the CAC said in a press release.

The victim is a 15-year-old girl. An order of protection has been issued in the case, and the victim is being offered services through the CAC.
