Rome Man Arrested On Rape Charge

A Rome man has been arrested for allegedly having sex with a child.

The Oneida County Child Advocacy Center say 43-year old Willie Williams engaged in sex with a girl under the age of 15 in the City of Rome earlier this month.

Williams is charged with rape.

An order of protection was requested on behalf of the victim, who has been offered services through the Child Advocacy Center.
