Rome Man Charged With Rape

A Rome man has been arrested for allegedly having sex with a child.

20-year old Moises Neto is accused of having sex with a girl under the age of 15 in the City of Rome.

Neto is charged with felony rape.

Neto was held at the Oneida County Jail and an order of protection has been requested on behalf of the victim.

The victim has also been offered counseling services through the Oneida County Child Advocacy Center.
