Rome Teacher Found Not Guilty In Excessive Discipline Case
A Rome teacher has been found not guilty of charges related to the excessive discipline of students at John Joy Elementary School.
30-year old Ashley Rasbach was facing two counts of endangering the welfare of a child and harassment.
Rasbach was found not guilty on Tuesday after a bench trial in Rome City Court.
The alleged incidents happened in Rasbach's special education classroom in April.
Similar charges against teacher's assistant Maria Fountain were dismissed last month
