A Rome woman is facing several charges in different municipalities for alleged fraudulent purchases made on her NY State issued credit card.

State Police accuse 56-year-old Sophia Boykin of making unauthorized purchases with her state issued credit card, while working at the NY State Developmental Disabilities State Operations Offices in Utica.

It appears the unauthorized purchases were made at TOPs Supermarket in Rome, Wal-Mart in the City of Utica and Panera Bread in New Hartford. Boykin was given appearance tickets for courts in all three municipalities on Petit Larceny charges.
