Sauquoit Man Killed Following One Car Crash in Herkimer County

A Sauquoit man is dead following a one car crash in the Town of Litchfield.

State Police say, 51-year-old Rodney Randall was traveling south on Roberts Road when he attempted to overtake a tractor-trailer in a no passing zone.

Randall over corrected when he re-entered the driving lane, lost control and exited the shoulder. His vehicle then struck a culvert and became airborne, overturned and came to rest upright.

Randall was pronounced dead at the scene. The investigation is ongoing.
