Search May Resume To Find Girl Missing For 20 Years

The search may resume for a missing girl who was abducted and killed in 1993.

According to Herkimer County District Attorney, Jeffrey Carpenter, State Police and his office may, once again, look at tips that might help them find the body of 12 year-old Sara Anne Wood.

Wood was taken in August 1993, while walking her bike home in Litchfield.

Three years later, Lewis Lent of Pittsfield, Massachusetts, pleaded guilty to her murder, saying he buried her in the Adirondacks but never said where.
