ALBANY, N.Y. (AP) — New York state is launching six new Cuisine Trails aimed at boosting tourism across a three-county area in the North Country.

Gov. Andrew Cuomo says six trails featuring more than 80 businesses in Clinton, Essex and Franklin counties will add to the state's growing agritourism sector of New York's $100 billion tourism industry. The Democrat says the businesses involved include farms, restaurants, breweries, wineries and distilleries.

The six new trails are the North Country Trail, the Adirondack Lakes Trail, the Boquet Valley Trail, the Champlain Valley Trail, Champ's Trail and the Ausable Valley Trail.

Businesses along them are marketed on the Taste NY website, trail maps and at the new Adirondack Welcome Center, along the northbound side of Interstate 87 and the Adirondack Northway in Queensbury.
